Underwriter Letter 2018

Nov 29, 2018,

Dear Friend,

Lockport CARES Emergency Homeless shelter will be hosting its annual fundraising banquet on Thursday, November 29th at Samuel’s Grande Manor.  We look forward to celebrating the lives that have been touched and changed through the warmth, nourishment, safety and direction that this shelter provides.  One of our guests described their stay with us so perfectly… “I didn’t expect to walk into God’s love here.”  What a privilege it is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to each of the guests.  As another guest proclaimed “This truly is a Christ centered home.”

Our goal is to have the entire cost, approximately $9,000, of the banquet underwritten by businesses, churches and individuals such as yourself.  This allows for all of the donations collected that evening to be allocated entirely to running Lockport CARES.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support of Lockport CARES.  Thank you.  Without generous people like yourself, this ministry would not be able to continue.  Please prayerfully consider the following opportunities:

1.       Help us underwrite the dinner.  Any amount is deeply appreciated, and your name will be printed on the program that evening,  displayed on the power point presentation, listed on Facebook and our website and announced in our newsletter, if you so choose.

2.      Host a table for the event.  Hosting a table simply means that you invite nine of your friends, family members or business acquaintances to sit at the table with you.  You will be provided with an informational packet that evening, for the people at your table.  We anticipate 300 supporters and therefore will need 30 table hosts.

Please fill out the enclosed form and return it to Lockport CARES by Friday, October 12th Feel free to contact our Executive Director Marty Nagy or myself with any questions or concerns.  My contact information is below and Marty’s cell is (716) 622-6148.

Thank you… from the bottom of our hearts.  Jesus said it so beautifully…”whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”  Matthew 25:40

In His Service,

Kim Mansfield  (716) 228-2465
